Learning Design Patterns as an Alternative Model of Course Design | Hapgood

“We are searching for some kind of harmony between two intangibles: a form which we have not yet designed and a context which we cannot properly describe.”

Have been heading down this path for the last couple of weeks – trying to think about how you can innovate pedagogy quickly, contextually and with broad applicability. The quote is particularly relevant in an online environment – we simply don’t understand what the online context will be and we haven’t specifically designed for it (just ported existing ideas into a new form).
